Request management submissions error

when attempted to submit a request thought portal using this tool i recieve the following error.
Response status code does not indicate success: 500 (The underlying service encountered an internal error. Please retry the request.).

Hi Hans,
We managed to resolve this in a support ticket, but we just want to share the cause of this failure to the community.
User accounts need to be in the format of "xy@xy.xy" for Request Management to function correctly.
In this case, the logged-in user account was not following the above naming standards.
